Humanoid Robotic Engineer
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Humanoid Robotic Engineer specializing in bipedal locomotion and manipulation to join our innovative team. This role focuses on designing and implementing advanced control algorithms, particularly utilizing Reinforcement Learning, to enhance the performance of our robotic systems in both simulated and real-world environments.
Key responsibilities include developing and deploying sophisticated control algorithms for bipedal locomotion and manipulation, training Reinforcement Learning policies in simulation, and transferring them to physical hardware. The engineer will also conduct sim-to-real transfers and analyze gait and kinematics telemetry to optimize robotic performance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Whole-Body Control, extensive experience with robotic simulation environments such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim or MuJoCo, and familiarity with modern Reinforcement Learning frameworks. A solid foundation in robotics and control systems is essential.
