Humanoid Robotic Engineer

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Humanoid Robotic Engineer specializing in bipedal locomotion and manipulation to join our team in Seattle, USA. This role focuses on designing and implementing sophisticated control algorithms, particularly utilizing Reinforcement Learning, to enhance the performance of robotic systems in both simulated and real-world environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced control algorithms for bipedal locomotion and manipulation. This includes training Reinforcement Learning policies in simulation and deploying them on physical hardware, as well as conducting sim-to-real transfers and analyzing gait and kinematics telemetry to improve system performance.

Applicants should possess a strong background in Model Predictive Control and Whole-Body Control. Extensive experience with robotic simulation environments such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim or MuJoCo is essential. Familiarity with modern Reinforcement Learning frameworks is also required to effectively develop and implement the necessary control algorithms.
