Eurofins E&E France is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Villejust laboratory. As part of Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical services with over 62,000 employees across 940 laboratories in 62 countries, our division specializes in testing and certifying electrical and electronic products, including medical devices, IoT devices, and laboratory equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive electrical safety tests, managing certification projects, and ensuring compliance with applicable IEC/EN standards. Your daily tasks will include preparing and implementing test plans, setting up and configuring test benches and measurement instruments, analyzing results, and drafting detailed test reports. Additionally, you will liaise with clients to discuss technical requirements and test outcomes, ensuring timely project delivery in line with production schedules.
The ideal candidate holds a Bac+5 degree (engineering school or master's) with a minimum of 2 years' experience, or a Bac+2/Bac+3 degree (DUT, BTS, Licence) with at least 5 years' experience in an electrical safety testing laboratory. Proficiency in IEC standards such as 60601-x, 61010-x, 60335-x, or 62368-1 is highly valued, along with knowledge of certification schemes like CB and NRTL. A professional level of English (reading and writing) is mandatory.
