Inside Sales Manager (m/w/d) – DACH/BeNeLux
Eurofins Genomics is seeking an Inside Sales Manager (m/w/d) to drive sales growth across the DACH and BeNeLux regions. This role focuses on promoting a comprehensive suite of genomic services, including next-generation sequencing, Sanger sequencing, oligonucleotide synthesis, gene synthesis, microarray analysis, genotyping, and custom projects. The position is home office-based, with occasional visits to production sites in Germany and Europe, and is structured as a permanent, 32-hour per week role.
Key responsibilities include increasing sales within specified market segments such as agrigenomics, environmental and food genomics, biopharma genomics, and personal genomics. The role involves establishing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline by identifying new projects and business opportunities, conducting regular sales analysis and forecasting, and utilizing CRM systems for database maintenance. Additionally, the Inside Sales Manager will collaborate with technical experts to develop optimal project solutions, communicate market and customer feedback to internal teams, implement sales strategies in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager, deliver product presentations, and guide new customers through the ordering process to ensure satisfaction.
Candidates should possess a completed degree (BSc or higher) in a relevant scientific field or have at least three years of professional experience in customer-facing roles within genomics. In-depth knowledge of genomics applications and analysis methods is essential. The role requires an independent, goal-oriented approach to work, strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and fluency in both German and English.
