Intern - Legal/Compliance Team - Product Regulatory & Environmental Regulatory Affairs

LG Electronics is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Product Regulatory & Environmental Affairs Regulatory Team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global technology company renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to ethical standards. The position is based at our North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and runs from June 1st through July 31st.

As an intern, you will be responsible for researching and monitoring U.S. federal and state regulations related to energy, artificial intelligence, hazardous substances, packaging, and batteries. Your primary task will be to systematically organize and analyze these regulatory developments, creating status tables and comparison charts to effectively track and manage compliance requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team to review the applicability of these regulations and continuously update records to ensure comprehensive compliance.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably majoring in business, data, or analytics, and is a rising sophomore or junior. Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and experience using Excel for creating charts and infographics are essential. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Teams, and AI-based drawing tools is required. A curiosity for customer observation, strong communication skills, and a creative problem-solving mindset grounded in design thinking are highly valued.

This internship offers an hourly rate of $25.00 and provides a comprehensive learning experience within a leading global technology company.
