Legal Team - Intern

LG Electronics is seeking a Legal Intern to join our Legal Team at the North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This 9-week summer internship, running from June 1st through July 31st, offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global technology company committed to innovation and ethical management.

As a Legal Intern, you will support the Legal Team in implementing strategic projects, including integrating AI into legal processes. Your responsibilities will involve updating policies, procedures, and legal documents to reflect current laws and business changes, particularly those related to AI.

Key duties include providing corporate and commercial legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting documents and memos, supporting attorneys across various business units, and developing contract forms and policies. You will also attend meetings with legal and business teams, draft and review legal documents, and participate in assigned legal projects.

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited law school (J.D. program) or graduate-level legal studies program with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Current 1L or 2L students with an interest in corporate, business, or employment law are preferred. Familiarity with legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google tools, and strong communication skills are essential.

This internship offers an hourly rate of $25.00 and provides a platform to work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship from industry experts, and explore future opportunities within a global tech leader.
