Inventory and Logistics Tech I - Temporary
Eurofins is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Technician I to join our team in Saint Charles, Missouri. This temporary position plays a crucial role in managing the flow of samples and supplies, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our laboratory operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments of samples and reagents, maintaining organized storage systems, and ensuring proper documentation for all materials. Your daily tasks will include checking in and transferring samples with appropriate tracking, organizing short and long-term storage, and maintaining the integrity of samples through proper freezer management. Additionally, you will handle the disposal or return of samples upon client request and coordinate with team members to resolve any issues that arise.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent education and experience. Proficiency in Windows software applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is essential. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required to effectively collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and clients. Attention to detail, the ability to perform mathematical calculations, and the capacity to interpret various instructions are also important. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are key attributes for success in this position.
