The Investigations Coordinator (Entry Level) at Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is a pivotal role within the firm's Premises Liability department, based in Orlando, Florida. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and excellent investigative skills, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing key administrative aspects of case opening procedures, ensuring thorough evaluation and documentation of premises liability cases.

Key responsibilities include meticulously managing an assigned caseload, conducting thorough research, creating roles, and drafting letters. The coordinator will identify cases requiring consultation with case staff before sending opening letters and effectively manage the backlog of cases needing more information or attorney approval. Maintaining high productivity without sacrificing quality is essential, as is ordering investigations with outside firms when necessary. Effective communication with the Premises Investigations team, investigation firms, case staff, attorneys, and other firm members regarding assigned cases is also a critical aspect of the role.

Candidates should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience as an investigator or case manager. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and maintain organization. The role demands multitasking, prioritization, and the capacity to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Outstanding attention to detail and critical thinking abilities are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at least 40 words per minute. Please note that this position is not remote eligible.
