iOS Engineer, Mobile
Mozilla is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join our mobile development team, focusing on creating applications that provide users with a choice in their iOS browser experience. As part of a globally distributed team, you'll contribute to developing products that promote an open, safe, and healthy internet environment.
In this role, you'll design, write, and maintain code for sophisticated iOS applications, ensuring they meet high standards for quality and user experience. Collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers, you'll build new features that enhance user engagement and contribute to the application's growth. Your responsibilities will also include conducting thorough code reviews, fixing bugs, and writing tests to ensure application stability and performance.
The ideal candidate has experience building and shipping native iOS/iPadOS applications using Swift, with a strong interest in modern iOS development practices, including SwiftUI and architectural patterns like MVVM. A passion for identifying and resolving bugs, proficiency in code reviews, unit testing, and automation are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team setting are also required.
