Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Workflow and CI
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Engineering Workflow and CI team at Mozilla, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Firefox development workflows. This position focuses on reducing time spent testing and debugging, as well as integrating and automating workflows to improve efficiency. You will collaborate with a geographically distributed development team to support and advance Mozilla's core products.
Your primary responsibilities will include improving Firefox development workflows to minimize testing and debugging time, integrating and automating workflows, and mentoring team members. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams by providing code reviews and technical direction, and analyze data to create dashboards and identify trends in the Firefox development process.
The ideal candidate will have proven Python skills, including experience in building services, and front-end development experience with JavaScript proficiency. Familiarity with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, cloud services like GCP or AWS, and REST is essential. A solid understanding of databases and SQL, experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or CircleCI, and comfort working across platforms including Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android are also required.
