Eurofins Electric & Electronic Product Testing AG is seeking an IT Field Support Agent to manage and support the local IT infrastructure at our headquarters in Fehraltorf, Switzerland, as well as our entities in Neuenhof, Rorschach, and Rossens. This role is integral to ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our IT systems, contributing to our mission of improving health and product safety through comprehensive testing and certification services.

The IT Field Support Agent will oversee the management of company laptops, desktops, network devices, printers, telephony systems, laboratory instruments, and servers located in the regional Google datacenter. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving local IT issues raised by level 1 and level 2 service tickets, implementing and enforcing security protocols, and collaborating with regional and group IT teams to plan and execute upgrades, expansions, and migrations with minimal operational disruption.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience. A minimum of five years' experience in IT management or a similar role is required, with proficiency in configuring and maintaining IT equipment and networks. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in both German and English are essential. The role also requires a willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
