IT Field Technician

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a skilled IT Field Technician to join our dynamic team. The IT Field Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining standard computer hardware and software. Key duties include assisting customers with troubleshooting computer-related issues such as virus removal, password resets, email setup, software installations, and setting up accounts for new users. Additionally, the technician will provide first-level troubleshooting of network equipment, maintain accurate records of completed and pending jobs using the Eurofins ticketing system (OTRS), and ensure timely responses to service issues and requests.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in computer network maintenance (Cisco and HP) and 5 years of experience with current computer and server operating systems. Proficiency in Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2016, Active Directory, and the Microsoft Office suite is essential. The ability to meet deadlines, manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations, and communicate technical concepts to a varied audience is also required. A good command of English is necessary.

This is a permanent position with potential travel up to 20%, primarily within France, depending on ongoing projects.
