IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our international team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing our hybrid cloud infrastructure, supporting our Food, Feed, and Agro Testing businesses across Europe. The position is based in Bangalore, India, with working hours from 12 PM to 9 PM IST to align with European business operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining Windows and Linux servers in both cloud and on-premises environments. Key duties include managing VMware vSphere infrastructure, automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible, implementing patch management strategies, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with security and application teams to ensure secure configurations and vulnerability remediation.

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with over seven years of experience in system administration and cloud infrastructure management. Essential skills include proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration, strong expertise in VMware vSphere, and experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
