IT Infrastructure Compute Engineer

Eurofins is seeking an IT Infrastructure Compute Engineer to join its Food, Feed & Agro Testing Europe division. This role is part of a growing international team responsible for maintaining newly deployed segregated IT User Zones, Application Availability Groups servers, end-user device management, and cloud infrastructures. The position is based in Chennai, India, with reporting responsibilities to the Infrastructure Service Operations in Poland.

The primary responsibilities include configuring and supporting Windows Server environments, managing backup configurations, troubleshooting monitoring alerts, handling identity and access management queries, and overseeing print server and printer management. Additionally, the role involves maintaining current IT User Zones and Application Availability with Azure and local infrastructure, supporting IT infrastructure transformation and integration projects across Europe, collaborating with various IT teams, managing incoming requests and escalations, and contributing to the creation of operational documents and processes.

Candidates should possess over five years of experience in server infrastructure design and transitions, administration of VMware ESXi/vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, shared folder management with NTFS and sharing permissions, Microsoft Active Directory administration, Windows Server 2019/2022 administration and support, and knowledge of PKI and Privileged Access Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Veeam Backup, GPO management, print server and printer management, server alerts management, and monitoring tools is also required. Strong command of written and spoken English is essential.
