IT Learning Specialist & Trainer
Wilson Elser, a leading national law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices, is seeking an IT Learning Specialist & Trainer to join their team in New York, New York. In this role, the IT Learning Specialist & Trainer will serve as the go-to subject matter expert on the firm's applications, focusing on end-user enablement. Responsibilities include designing and delivering training programs tailored to various audiences and skill levels, developing courseware, updating intranet content, and collaborating with IT teams to support onboarding and new product launches. The position also involves delivering training in diverse settings, such as live meetings, one-on-one sessions, and classroom training, to build lasting user confidence and competency.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in a professional services training role, with strong written and spoken communication skills. A comprehensive understanding of the firm's core software, including Office 365 suite, Windows 11, iManage, Emburse, Dropbox, Webtime or iTimekeep, and Zoom/Teams, is essential. Experience with Atlassian Jira is a plus. The role requires the ability to develop and provide IT and end-user training on computer hardware and application software, conduct research to develop and revise training courses, and prepare appropriate training materials.
