IT Support Analyst
Barriston LLP is seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Analyst to join their dedicated IT team. This role involves providing technical support to both on-site and remote staff, ensuring seamless operations across the firm's offices. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software issues, offering solutions, and assisting with the installation and upgrading of software applications and hardware systems.
Key responsibilities include responding to IT support requests, tracking issues through a ticketing system, and communicating with staff to diagnose and resolve software, networking, or hardware problems. The role also involves installing and configuring computer systems, providing first-level technical support, monitoring helpdesk lines and support inboxes, and assisting with network troubleshooting. Additionally, the IT Support Analyst will support various system projects, travel to different Barriston offices as required, and provide after-hours and weekend on-call support on a rotating basis.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a strong understanding of business software and hardware systems. Experience in installing, configuring, and supporting a wide range of staff and server-based applications is essential, along with proficiency in Windows Server environments and Microsoft Office 365 administration. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure administration, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, networking concepts, and web services is also required. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary due to the nature of the work.
