Japanese Data Labeller

Canva's Localisation team is seeking a Japanese Data Labeller to enhance the quality of AI-generated content for Japanese users. This role is integral to ensuring that Canva's AI features meet high standards in the Japanese market, contributing to the company's mission of providing a seamless design experience worldwide.

The primary responsibilities include labeling, annotating, and evaluating various content types such as photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs. The role also involves assessing the linguistic quality and cultural appropriateness of AI-generated content in Japanese, building language-specific datasets, and delivering labeled assets within set timelines to support the development of Canva's AI features.

Candidates should have native proficiency in Japanese and experience as a multimedia designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of visual communication fundamentals. Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment are essential. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are also required.
