Junior Group Legal Counsel
Inizio is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its established and collaborative commercial legal team as a Junior Group Legal Counsel. This fully remote position focuses on providing comprehensive legal support to various group companies within the Inizio portfolio, primarily across the UK, Europe, and North America.
The Junior Group Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and supplier contracts, ensuring a balance between client satisfaction and business protection. The role includes providing legal advice on issues such as data protection, intellectual property, and employment matters, assisting with responses to RFIs and RFPs, and offering guidance on regulatory and corporate governance issues. Additionally, the counsel will draft, review, implement, and amend precedent contracts, policies, and procedures, and support other team members with research, projects, and reports.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent relationship management skills necessary for negotiating with clients and other professionals to achieve agreed goals. They should excel in a complex environment, be a team player capable of working across functional departments and divisions, and have experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. A commercially minded judgment to work largely autonomously within a supportive team is essential. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is desirable but not essential.
