Junior Group Legal Counsel

Inizio is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its established and collegiate remote-working commercial legal team on a permanent basis. This fully remote role focuses on providing comprehensive legal support to various group companies within the Inizio portfolio, primarily across the UK, Europe, and North America.

The Junior Group Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and supplier contracts, ensuring a balance between client satisfaction and business protection. The role includes providing legal advice on issues such as data protection, intellectual property, and employment matters. Additional duties involve assisting with responses to RFIs and RFPs, guiding on regulatory and corporate governance issues, drafting and implementing precedent contracts, policies, and procedures, and supporting other team members with research and projects.

Candidates must possess excellent relationship management skills essential for negotiating with clients and professionals to achieve agreed goals. The ability to excel in a complex environment and work collaboratively across functional departments and divisions is crucial. Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, along with commercially minded judgment to work largely autonomously within a supportive team, is required. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is desirable but not essential.

Applicants should be qualified solicitors in England & Wales with 0-2 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with some in-house experience.
