Junior Software Engineer (.NET, C#)
is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our Protocols Team in Warsaw, Poland. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the communication backbone that powers millions of IoT devices worldwide. As part of this team, you will contribute to creating software solutions that enhance the intelligence, safety, and efficiency of homes.
In this role, you will assist in developing and maintaining full-stack software across multiple platforms and technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with senior engineers to research and apply new tools and frameworks, participating in the software development life cycle from requirements gathering to deployment, and writing clean, well-documented code with unit tests to ensure quality. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support projects and deliver solutions that meet both technical and business needs.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or possesses equivalent training or experience. You should have some professional or internship experience in software development, strong programming fundamentals with knowledge of object-oriented programming (C# is a plus), and a basic understanding of databases and SQL. Familiarity with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Ember.js, Angular, or React is advantageous. A willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as part of a collaborative team is essential.
