is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support the security of our cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure. This role involves assisting in identifying and mitigating security risks, using cloud-native security tools, and helping manage security solutions. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to incorporate security into the software development lifecycle and assist in maintaining threat models. Additionally, the role includes ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements, suggesting risk mitigation strategies, and responding to security queries from clients and partners.

Key responsibilities include evaluating, reviewing, and deploying cloud-native security tools in AWS and Azure, supporting the monitoring and configuration of rules using cloud security platforms such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, CASB, and CIEM, and utilizing tools like Wiz for cloud security posture management. The engineer will also assist in selecting and acquiring additional security solutions to enhance enterprise security, oversee the deployment and integration of security solutions, and collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security into all phases of the software development lifecycle. Maintaining threat models for cloud environments and training engineering teams in attacker/risk-driven design skills are also part of the role.

The ideal candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or a similar engineering program, or equivalent experience, and 3-5 years of cloud information security experience focusing on public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. Certifications like AWS Security, CISSP, CISA, or OSCP are a plus. Experience in performing security reviews of cloud application designs, source code, and deployments is beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with AWS services like EC2, ECS, WAF, VPC configuration, IAM rules, and cloud security platforms are advantageous. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and proficiency in Python and Java for cloud security scripting and automation are also desirable.
