This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of tax matters, including both New Zealand and cross-border commercial transactions. As a Junior Tax Solicitor, you will be involved in advising clients on various tax issues, reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation, obtaining binding rulings from the Inland Revenue Department, and participating in tax disputes and policy submissions. The position requires a strong technical skill set and a solution-oriented approach, with an emphasis on collaboration and thorough analysis.
Ideal candidates will have 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience, a collaborative team-oriented mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen attention to detail. A background in tax law or advisory services is essential for this role.
