As a Team Leader in our professional paint shop located in Hemau near Regensburg, you will oversee a team of approximately 5-10 individuals, ensuring the seamless preparation of premium vehicles within our Autohero production department. Autohero, an innovative online shop for certified used cars, is part of the AUTO1 Group, Europe's leading platform for automotive trade. Our platform enables customers to purchase high-quality used vehicles conveniently, securely, and transparently online.
In this role, you will lead the paint shop team, ensuring departmental goals are met. Your responsibilities include actively participating in the recruitment and continuous development of team members, providing technical guidance on painting tasks, and introducing new repair methods. You will independently manage shift and capacity planning, identify and implement improvements in workshop organization and workplace design, conduct internal quality controls, and support occupational safety and health measures in the workshop. You will report directly to the site manager.
The ideal candidate has completed training as an automotive painter, preferably with a master's qualification, and possesses several years of leadership experience in a similar role. Proven success in managing employees, ideally within a workshop environment, is essential. A strong technical understanding, manual dexterity, responsible and structured working style, and enthusiasm for guiding and motivating a team are required. Excellent German language skills are necessary, with English proficiency considered a plus, along with familiarity with common software applications.
