As a KFZ-Trainer & Ausbilder specializing in Bodyshop and Paintwork at Auto1, you will lead our professional paint shop team in Hemau near Regensburg. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless refurbishment of premium vehicles within our Autohero production department, which upholds the highest quality standards for our Autohero inventory. Autohero, an innovative online shop for certified used cars, is part of the AUTO1 Group, Europe's leading platform for automotive trade.
Your primary responsibilities include developing training materials for bodywork specialists, apprentices, and professionals in car body repair. You will conduct hands-on training sessions covering repair procedures, painting, polishing, and the proper disassembly and assembly of vehicle components. Additionally, you will instruct on the correct use of alignment systems, part replacements, and accident damage repairs. Training will also encompass the use of water-based paints, operation of paint booths, and modern color mixing techniques.
We require over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly in body assembly within large automotive workshops. A master craftsman qualification in painting and varnishing, specializing in vehicle painting, including a trainer certification, is essential. Proficiency with diagnostic and measuring instruments, precision, critical self-assessment, teamwork capabilities, and excellent coaching and communication skills are also necessary.
