Lab Specimen Processor - Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm

The Laboratory Specimen Processor at Eurofins is responsible for accessioning and data entry tasks within the clinical laboratory. This role involves handling and processing various biological specimens to ensure accurate and efficient laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include demonstrating proficiency with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for data entry, examining samples for accuracy and compliance with requirements, labeling and delivering samples to appropriate areas, and maintaining quality control records. The processor also resolves patient demographic discrepancies, adheres to data management protocols, and collaborates with laboratory associates to complete daily activities efficiently.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in specimen processing within a clinical laboratory setting. Comfort with handling raw specimens is essential. Applicants will undergo typing proficiency tests, requiring a minimum of 30 words per minute. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial. Proficiency with PC-based software programs and database management is also preferred.
