Lab Technician

Eurofins is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lab Technician to join our Quality Control Operations (QCO) team in Boxmeer. QCO is a dynamic team that supports all Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) of Animal Health by performing timely quality control tests. The team is responsible for physical, chemical, biological, and microbiological testing of vaccine and pharmaceutical finished products, antigens, raw materials, APIs, and primary packaging materials.

As a Lab Technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing and reporting immunoassay tests for production, stability, and batch release. You will ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as GMP and EHS. Additionally, you will execute test optimizations, draft and lead simple changes in collaboration with other departments, provide laboratory technical support, contribute to department-wide improvement initiatives, and communicate critical observations to management for immediate assessment and action.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Molecular Biology, or an equivalent HBO/HLO qualification. Experience in laboratory techniques such as ELISA or other immunoassays is required, along with familiarity with GLP and GMP requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and proficiency in Dutch and English are essential.
