Laboratory Analyst (2nd shift), Environment Testing, Earth City MO
Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Analyst I to join our Environment Testing laboratory in Earth City, MO. This full-time, second-shift position offers an opportunity to work within a global leader in life sciences, providing analytical testing services across various industries to ensure product safety and environmental sustainability.
The Laboratory Analyst I will be responsible for preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with Eurofins' Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures. Key duties include sample preparation, chemical analysis, data calculation, recording and reporting results, and performing routine instrument maintenance. The role also involves general housekeeping within the work area and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Candidates should possess a minimum of an Associate of Science degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of preparation or analytical experience, effective communication skills, a positive attitude toward quality and safety procedures, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in basic math skills. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform within time constraints is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, and dental and vision options.
