Eurofins Environment Testing in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our Wet Chemistry department. Our laboratory specializes in environmental testing and applied analytical chemistry, providing support to a diverse range of clients. The Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for preparing and analyzing environmental samples, such as soil and water, following standard operating procedures and EPA methodologies. Key duties include adhering to quality control procedures, maintaining health and safety standards, preparing and maintaining standards and reagent solutions, documenting laboratory procedures and results, operating and maintaining complex analytical instrumentation, interpreting and reporting data, and working efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field. While previous laboratory experience is preferred, it is not required. Essential skills include the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, basic proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship and demonstrate professional proficiency in English.
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $23, depending on experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime and rotating weekend work.
