Laboratory Equipment Technician
The Laboratory Equipment Technician at Eurofins plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of laboratory instruments, ensuring seamless support for testing activities. This position is integral to the laboratory team, contributing to Eurofins' mission of delivering high-quality analytical testing services across various industries.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for routine equipment maintenance, such as refilling incubator water, coordinating annual disinfection of incubators and biosafety cabinets, conducting monthly freezer de-icing, and performing annual freezer defrosts. Effective communication with laboratory scientists is essential to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruptions to ongoing testing.
Candidates should possess an associate's degree with 3–5 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 5–7 years of experience in an academic, biotech, or pharmaceutical laboratory environment. Demonstrated experience in laboratory equipment maintenance is required, along with strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
