Laboratory Technician
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with Eurofins' Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures. Key duties include sample preparation, performing chemical analyses, calculating and recording data, reporting unusual test occurrences, and conducting routine instrument maintenance. The technician will also ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in all areas of responsibility.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; however, a High School Diploma is required. While 1-2 years of laboratory experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. Essential skills include the ability to use mathematical formulas, complete work within time and quality constraints, and work independently following written or verbal instructions. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required.
This full-time position offers a starting rate of $17.75 per hour, with compensation based on experience. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a training period from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm CST, and overtime as needed.
