Laboratory Technician
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Naperville, Illinois. In this role, you will perform routine microbiological laboratory procedures, including isolating and culturing bacteria and other microorganisms. Responsibilities encompass maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, preparing specimens for testing, and documenting all data and results accurately. Adherence to laboratory safety standards and protocols is essential to ensure the integrity and reliability of test outcomes.
Candidates should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field. Prior experience in a microbiology laboratory or a similar setting is preferred, with hands-on proficiency in relevant equipment and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this position.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00, commensurate with experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 7 PM, with potential for overtime as needed.
