Laboratory Technician, Temporary Position (May- December)

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Naperville site on a temporary basis from May to December. This role involves supporting laboratory operations by processing samples and conducting microbiological analyses. Eurofins is a global leader in life sciences, providing a wide range of analytical testing services to ensure the safety and quality of products across various industries.

The Laboratory Technician will perform routine microbiological procedures, including isolating and culturing bacteria, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and documenting all data and results accurately. Responsibilities also encompass preparing specimens for testing, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and preparing detailed reports of laboratory findings.

Candidates should possess an AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician or in a similar laboratory setting. Essential skills include proficiency with laboratory equipment and procedures, knowledge of modern microbiological techniques, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00, based on experience.
