Lead auditor- South
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Lead Auditor for its South region operations, encompassing locations such as Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The Lead Auditor will play a pivotal role in upholding the company's commitment to quality and compliance within these sectors.
The primary responsibilities of the Lead Auditor include conducting audits and training sessions in accordance with established audit criteria. The role demands staying abreast of skill development, code qualifications, and both regulatory and industry requirements pertinent to audits and certifications. Proficiency in standards such as BRCGS Food, Packaging, FSSC, ISO 22000, and GMP is essential. Additionally, the auditor is expected to maintain an updated understanding of the local social, economic, and business environment to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of audit processes.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably Food Science, and have completed a Lead Auditor course in FSMS, FSSC, QMS, or an equivalent program. A minimum of five years' experience in operations, technical roles, or audits, ideally within a certification body, is required. Furthermore, at least four years of experience in the food industry, particularly in production or quality departments, is necessary. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in English, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, are also essential.
