Lead Mobile Engineer - React Native
As the Lead Mobile Engineer at DiliTrust, you will spearhead the complete rebuild of our native mobile applications using React Native and AI-powered development tools. This strategic role involves laying the foundation for our mobile architecture, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing best practices to scale our mobile offerings beyond current capabilities. DiliTrust is a leading SaaS provider in Europe, transforming legal departments worldwide with cutting-edge technology, serving over 2,300 customers in 50 countries, including 80% of CAC 40 companies.
In this role, you will lead the full redevelopment of our existing native mobile applications from scratch, define and implement scalable and maintainable mobile architecture, and set up comprehensive CI/CD pipelines for mobile development. You will leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development and enhance quality standards, establish mobile engineering best practices, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a world-class mobile experience. Additionally, you will progressively extend the mobile scope beyond the current feature set and mentor the mobile team as the project scales.
The ideal candidate has over 8 years of professional experience in mobile development, with a proven track record as a React Native expert and deep knowledge of the ecosystem, including navigation, state management, native modules, and performance optimization. You should have demonstrated ability to start a mobile project from scratch, experience building and shipping production mobile apps on both iOS and Android, and hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
Technical expertise required includes expert-level proficiency in React Native and TypeScript, strong understanding of native mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and bridging when needed, solid experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for mobile using tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions, and experience with automated testing strategies for mobile, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Familiarity with mobile performance profiling, crash reporting, and monitoring tools, as well as high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation, are also essential.
Leadership and collaboration skills are crucial, including the ability to take full ownership of a technical domain and drive decisions autonomously, strong communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders, and experience mentoring developers and establishing engineering practices within a team. The tech stack includes React Native, TypeScript, iOS, Android, UWP, PHP/TypeScript REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MariaDB, Claude code, Docker, CI/CD, and GCP.
