Legacy Consultant
The Legacy Consultant role at Foot Anstey LLP is integral to the Legacy Income Management Team, focusing on assisting charity clients with legacy income administration. This position is available in Exeter, Bristol, London, and Manchester, offering hybrid working arrangements with an expectation of office attendance once a month. In this role, the Legacy Consultant will deliver high-quality, tailored legacy administration support, managing a varied caseload that includes pecuniary, residuary, and complex or contentious cases. Responsibilities include proactively progressing estate matters, building and maintaining strong client relationships, monitoring and reconciling income, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The consultant will collaborate with specialists across the firm to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Candidates should have experience in using and maintaining databases, with strong organisational and data management skills. Previous experience in legacy administration or a genuine interest in developing within this area is preferred, along with familiarity with systems such as First Class 4 or similar case management platforms. A basic understanding of Wills, Probate, and Trust law, or a willingness to build expertise in these areas, is essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, a sensitive and empathetic approach, and a proactive and collaborative mindset are also required.
