In this role, the intern will collaborate with the team to identify and analyze controls within existing business processes, gaining a comprehensive understanding of operations. Responsibilities include assisting in the design and implementation of streamlined business processes, controls, and policies that add real value. The intern will also support the implementation of robust business governance and control measures, focusing on data governance, security, and privacy to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Candidates should be rising college seniors or above, pursuing a degree or master's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, Legal, Finance, or a related field. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using analytical tools and familiarity with process mapping and design methodologies are also required. An awareness of the significance of governance frameworks and controls in ensuring compliance and effectively managing enterprise risks is important. The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams, is crucial. Candidates must be able to work out of the San Ramon, CA headquarters during the summer.
This is a full-time, paid internship based out of Five9's headquarters in San Ramon, CA. The program runs for 11 weeks, with the opportunity to start in early or mid-June. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). The hourly compensation for this role is $25.
