Legal Consultant – Commercial Contracts (Japanese Speaker)
Axiom is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in Commercial Contracts with proficiency in Japanese to support Fortune 500 clients. This role involves remote collaboration, focusing on the Japanese market, and offers the flexibility to work either remotely or on-site, depending on client preferences.
The primary responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a diverse array of agreements such as creative, advertising, digital marketing, procurement, technology, and partnership deals. Additionally, the consultant will develop, implement, and advise on various commercial marketplace contracts, including Terms and Conditions of Sale, distribution agreements, and related policies.
Candidates should be qualified lawyers with a minimum of four years of legal experience, demonstrating substantial expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts. Prior work experience in Japan is advantageous, and while a Japanese legal qualification is preferred, applicants from all jurisdictions are welcome. Fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to write and draft in both languages, is essential.
