Legal Consultant - Data Privacy

The primary responsibilities include standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs related to data privacy, as well as drafting and reviewing associated documents such as vendor and client contracts. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business and product development teams, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and procurement, to ensure comprehensive data privacy compliance. Additionally, the role involves providing legal advice on privacy matters, conducting privacy impact assessments, and addressing data-sharing issues.

Candidates should be qualified lawyers with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in data protection and data privacy. Experience in standardizing policies and training programs, as well as drafting and reviewing contracts, is essential. The role requires the ability to work closely with legal and business teams to provide commercially tailored support, maintain and update documentation in line with the latest regulatory requirements, and offer practical solutions for various corporate policies.
