Legal Consultant - Financial Services Regulatory / Payments
Axiom is seeking a qualified lawyer with 4-12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in payments and financial services regulatory compliance to join their team in Singapore. This role involves collaborating with Fortune 500 global clients to navigate complex financial regulations.
The primary responsibilities include advising on a broad spectrum of financial services regulations, supporting licensing and regulatory engagement, handling regulatory queries, providing legal advice on Singapore financial regulations such as MAS guidelines and the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), drafting and reviewing legal documentation including policies, contracts, and disclosures, and partnering with internal teams like product, risk, and compliance to integrate regulatory requirements into business operations.
Ideal candidates should possess a strong background in payments and financial services regulatory compliance, with experience from financial institutions or law firms. A deep understanding of Singapore's financial regulations, including MAS guidelines and the SFA, is essential. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also important.
