Legal Counsel (8 month FTC)

LinkedIn is seeking a Legal Counsel for an 8-month fixed-term contract to join its APAC Legal team based in Singapore. This role involves partnering with the APAC business to drive results and support continued growth within the region. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements aligned with company standards. Collaboration with LinkedIn's Deal Desk, Finance, and other cross-functional teams is essential to ensure timely closure of sales transactions in accordance with internal corporate policies and processes. Additionally, the role includes working with other LinkedIn legal professionals to optimize support to the business.

Candidates must possess the necessary education and professional qualifications to practice as a lawyer in a common law jurisdiction, with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial and/or technology transactions. Preferred qualifications include experience with technology or software companies, a solid understanding of general commercial contracting and intellectual property law principles, effective interpersonal skills, familiarity with government contracts and Singapore data protection law, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent matters.
