LEGAL COUNSEL

Metromakro is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Legal & Compliance team, focusing on contract management, litigation, and providing legal guidance across various company departments. This role is integral to ensuring our operations align with legal standards and support our business objectives.

The Legal Counsel will proactively assist colleagues by offering legal opinions and guidance on business activities. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing a wide range of contracts, such as logistics agreements, service contracts, commercial leases, marketing agreements, agency contracts, IT agreements, and consultancy contracts, with a particular emphasis on mitigating liability risks in service contracts. Additionally, the role involves managing civil and criminal litigation, resolving disputes with suppliers, clients, and third parties, and ensuring compliance with external regulations and internal policies.

Candidates should possess a degree in law and have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. A strong understanding of civil law, commercial and corporate law, corporate governance, competition law, advertising law, and regulations applicable to the food industry is essential. Proficiency in English at an advanced level and familiarity with Microsoft Office are also required. Key competencies include planning and organization, customer success contribution, results orientation, problem analysis, and initiative.
