Legal Counsel - Romania

Glovo, a subsidiary of Delivery Hero, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its team in Romania. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support across various departments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and facilitating the company's growth in the region.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for assessing and advising on the launch of new verticals, projects, and commercial activities. Key duties include reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of contracts with various business partners. Additionally, the role entails ensuring compliance with regulations pertinent to Glovo's operations, such as privacy, labor laws, and other relevant legal areas. The scope of responsibilities may also extend to other countries, including Moldova.

Candidates should possess at least two years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or within a reputable law firm or Big Four firm, with proven expertise in contractual and regulatory matters. Experience in labor law, data protection, and engagement with authorities like ANCOM, ANPC, and RCC is advantageous. A Bachelor of Laws degree from Romania or a European country eligible for validation in Romania is required. Fluency in Romanian and advanced English proficiency are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
