Legal Intern, Brazil

Airbnb is seeking a Legal Intern to join its Brazil legal consulting and Litigation teams for a 24-month internship based in São Paulo. This role offers an opportunity to work within Airbnb's dynamic legal team, which is at the forefront of addressing innovative legal challenges in the sharing economy. The position is ideal for proactive law students eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The Legal Intern will support the Brazil Litigation team by managing summonings from judicial and administrative cases, monitoring ongoing cases, and gathering data to assist in Airbnb's legal defenses. Responsibilities also include managing outside counsel work, drafting reports and responses to judicial and administrative requests, and participating in various litigation projects and daily workflows.

Candidates should be current second or third-year law students with advanced proficiency in English. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines are essential. While previous experience in litigation is advantageous, it is not a requirement. Applicants must be able to provide an internship agreement from their university to be eligible for this position.

The internship offers a monthly compensation of R$3,000 BRL and may include additional benefits. The role requires the intern to be based in São Paulo for in-person meetings and collaboration, and applicants must have work authorization for Brazil.
