Legal Project Manager
Clifford Chance, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Legal Project Manager to join their team. This role is integral to the firm's "Best Delivery" hubs, which are aligned with global business units such as Corporate, Global Financial Markets, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. The Legal Project Manager will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding client experiences by applying continuous improvement principles, innovative technology, and efficient resource management.
In this position, the Legal Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the full matter lifecycle of significant legal projects. Key duties include preparing scope, resourcing, and budget proposals, tracking progress against these proposals, and ensuring that matters are delivered efficiently, on budget, and within the agreed timeframe. The role also involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, lawyers, and external service providers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
Candidates should have a solid background in project management, preferably within a professional services environment. A qualification or industry-recognized certification in project management is desirable but not essential. Strong collaboration, influencing, and internal networking skills are crucial for success in this role. The ability to work outside of core business hours as needed and independently and legally authorized to work in the United States are also required.
Clifford Chance offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000, with actual salary commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
