Legal Volunteer

Democracy Forward Foundation (DFF) is seeking experienced litigators to volunteer in Washington, D.C., assisting in researching, developing, and litigating legal cases, as well as creating legal resources for coalition partners. Volunteers are expected to commit to at least 15 hours per week for a minimum of six months, with potential for extension. Assignments may include legal research, drafting memoranda, consulting with attorneys, and assisting in preparing briefs or complaints. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of federal court litigation experience and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Specialized knowledge in areas such as immigration, privacy, class action, or employment law, as well as language skills or security clearances, are also valuable.
