Eurofins is seeking an experienced Middleware/IIS Administrator to join our global Infrastructure team. This role involves managing and optimizing web application environments, collaborating closely with Application Support and Release Management teams to monitor and troubleshoot production instances, and implementing changes in line with established standards. The technical stack includes C#/.NET web applications, IIS administration, Windows and Linux operating systems, MS SQL databases, and container management. Creativity and proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell are essential for contributing to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include administering and maintaining IIS 10 web servers applications, configuring bindings, managing websites, backups, and configuration versions, and troubleshooting application pools, virtual directories, and worker processes. The role also involves implementing SSL certificates, authentication, access controls, and security best practices, diagnosing and resolving IIS, deployment, and performance issues, and collaborating on Azure PaaS/SaaS components. Additionally, the position requires utilizing Azure monitoring tools, managing deployments with tools like Octopus Deploy, automating operational tasks with scripting languages, providing support for MS SQL Server, performing Windows Server administration and troubleshooting, applying ITIL processes, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing containerized solutions using Docker and managing environments with Docker Compose.

The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing web application environments. Required technical skills include proficiency with web servers such as IIS, Nginx, and Tomcat; scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and Bash; container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes; and platforms such as Windows and Linux. Experience with MS SQL databases, ticketing tools like JIRA and ServiceNow, operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX, cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, CI/CD and deployment tools such as Octopus Deploy, and version control systems like Azure DevOps and TFS is also necessary. A strong customer-service mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

This full-time position offers hybrid work arrangements, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
