Licensing Specialist (Contract)
Midi Health is seeking a Licensing Specialist (Contractor) to establish and optimize licensing workflows within our organization. Reporting to the Manager of Licensing & Credentialing, this role focuses on managing provider licensing processes across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and supporting provider onboarding. As a fully remote company, Midi Health offers this opportunity to candidates located within the United States.
The Licensing Specialist will oversee the entire provider licensing process, including application preparation, submission, and follow-up across various states. Responsibilities include coordinating and tracking licensing timelines, developing and maintaining licensing workflows, and managing Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) to ensure compliance with state-specific requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate licensing records and proactively managing renewals to prevent lapses.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare licensing, with hands-on experience in managing CPAs and familiarity with Nursing Compact Licensure (NLC) and multi-state practice requirements. Proficiency in using credentialing and licensing systems such as Verifiable or Salesforce is preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
This contract position offers a rate of $35 per hour and a flexible schedule. The initial contract term is 2 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. As a remote role, candidates are expected to provide their own computer and workspace.
