Life Sciences Technical Program Manager
Lila Sciences is seeking a Life Sciences Technical Program Manager to join our team in Cambridge, MA. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Life Sciences domain lead to drive the execution of autonomous science programs, ensuring they are delivered on time and with rigor. This position focuses on creating the conditions for scientific work to happen at speed and scale, without directing the scientific work itself.
Key responsibilities include owning day-to-day program execution within the Life Sciences experiment team, maintaining project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring programs are delivered with operational rigor. You will serve as the primary operational interface between the Life Sciences team and platform partners, aligning on priorities and resolving cross-functional dependencies. Additionally, you will translate scientific program goals into structured workstreams that enable efficient autonomous experimentation, run program rituals with a focus on purposeful meetings and documentation, and support the delivery of commercial contracts by working with the Product & Revenue team.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of program or project management experience in a life sciences or biotechnology environment, along with a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related field. A proven track record of managing multiple concurrent programs in fast-paced, ambiguous environments is essential, as is the ability to coordinate across scientific and operational stakeholders. Sufficient scientific fluency to understand program goals and communicate them clearly to partner teams is also required.
