Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. This role involves supporting our legal team in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient case management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include performing administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. The Litigation Assistant will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and legal documents, and implement administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additional tasks involve collecting and organizing evidence for attorney review, drafting and proofreading legal documents, conducting legal research, managing client billing, and coordinating meetings and depositions with clients and witnesses.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department, is required. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in scheduling depositions and hearings, and familiarity with motions, discovery, and court procedures are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are also required.
