Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves working closely with a lead attorney and litigation paralegal to support the firm's mission of advocating for consumer rights. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the firm's commitment to serving the people.

Key responsibilities include performing administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. The Litigation Assistant will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and documents, and implement administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additional tasks involve collecting and organizing evidence for attorney review, drafting and proofreading legal documents, conducting legal research, managing client billing, and coordinating meetings with clients and witnesses.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor's Degree, or Paralegal Certificate preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department is required. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas is preferred. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are essential.
